Research Project Overview and Description:
Grounded in moral and social philosophy, this project analyzes contemporary value systems through the creation of an interactive action RPG game titled Beneath the Tower. The player acts as a warrior climbing a tower that metaphorically represents a dominant value system. Through random events and challenges built via Unity and large language models (Gemini and Sonnet 4.5), the gameplay prompts players to question daily inherited belief metrics and the necessity of rigid societal hierarchies.
Research Outcome:
An indie action RPG game intended for release on Steam, beginning with a playable demo version of Chapter 1. The final project is designed to be both entertaining and thought-provoking, highlighting alternatives to the modern “involution cycle”.
