Research Project Overview and Description:
This project focuses on the virtualization and digitization of the distinct art style of National Filipino Artist Fernando Amorsolo using Spatial Computing. It explores the integration of art history and computer science to address westernized and generalized biases within current generative artificial intelligence datasets, aiming to expand the model to include other underrepresented cultural minorities.
Research Outcome:
An original base visualization video produced using Midjourney and DaVinci Resolve. The ultimate goal is to develop this model into an application to redefine user experiences in art interpretation and expand into a potential startup pitch. Funding (Seed Fund for Student): Potential for integration into the Big Data Studies Lab or development as a startup pitch.
