To foster deeper engagement and structured learning, we are offering a 3-month project-based internship scheme that aligns student talent with our cutting-edge research in XR, immersive media, GenAI, and digital humanities. This is a unique opportunity to build a portfolio at the intersection of art and technology, working on projects with real-world impact.
Our core internship roles operate on a fixed, 3-month schedule. Interns commit to one full quarter, focusing intensely on achieving defined project goals within their respective disciplines.

XR Content Creator
Job Description:
Focus on leveraging XR technologies to enhance user experiences through meticulous UX design, spatial data collection, and integration of advanced sensors. Manage the calibration and programming of Lidar and optical sensors to align with system OS updates, facilitating diverse arts creation and interactive 3D content.
Deliverables:
- Deliver sets of interactive and animated branding and/or interactive works for the lab catering for different event and publicities. Especially the soft opening event of the lab.
- Apply in using real-time rendering software like Unity and Unreal Engine and help the students to showcase the selected student works/ project on the exhibition space.
- Utilize Lidar and optical sensors for enhanced spatial data collection and integration into XR projects.
- Develop and execute detailed plans for 3D content creation, photogrammetry, and scanning work, ensuring high-quality visual and interactive experiences.
Software Engineer
Job Description:
Engage in AI prompt engineering and dataset fine-tuning for the lab’s projects. Utilize open-source models such as Stable Diffusion to enhance the capabilities of the lab’s high computing power PCs. Focus on the strategic integration of AI solutions to facilitate advanced arts generation, alongside planning for robust database management and cybersecurity measures.
Deliverables:
1.AI Solutions Integration:
- Integrate and optimize AI solutions, such as generative AI models, into the lab’s high computing power PCs to enhance the creation and processing of digital arts.
- Adapt and apply open-source AI technologies to improve the utility and efficiency of arts generation projects within the lab.
2. Database and Cybersecurity Planning:
- Design and implement a comprehensive plan for database management to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and usage that supports the lab’s technological and research needs.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to safeguard the lab’s digital assets and project data from unauthorized access and potential security threats.
Social Media Editor
Job Description:
Manage and elevate the lab’s online presence through strategic social media and web content management. Employ graphic design skills, art sense, and digital drawing techniques using tablets to create engaging and visually appealing content.
Deliverables:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of the lab’s website.
- Analyze web traffic and user engagement metrics to optimize content and social media strategies.
Create banners, video reels, and other promotional materials to effectively communicate and promote lab events and projects.

The ATLab reserves the right to announce specialized, spontaneous hiring drives at any time for urgent or unique projects (e.g., 4D Volumetric Scanning Technician, Music Generation AI Specialist). These positions will have flexible start dates and durations dictated by the specific project timeline.
