Day 1 – Visual Narratives & Mixed Media (2D/ AI Imagery/ Short Form Video)
Objective: Learn how to tell stories using AI-generated visuals, short-form video, and multimedia elements, while gaining a foundational understanding of how AI works.
09:30–10:30 Introduction to AI Fundamentals
- What is Artificial Intelligence? (Brief history and scope)
- Key concepts: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Network,NLP
- What is Generative AI? Examples in art, science and daily life
10:30–11:30 GenAI in Creative Practice
- Real-world cases in visual art, design, music, writing
- Transition into tools we’ll use: Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, CapCut
- Include a professional example of high quality product
- Reserve time for group discussion / testing
11:30–11:45 Break
11:45–12:30 What is a Digital Narrative?
- Types of digital storytelling (e.g., TikToks, animated posts, image sequences)
- Show examples to spark ideas
12:30–13:30 Lunch
13:30–15:30 Hands-On Film Project
- Film Language & Narrative Structure
- Script & storyboard creation
- Roles assigned(Director, Editor, Actor, etc.), on-site filming or AI video generation
- Begin editing using CapCut or DaVinci Resolve (mobile)
Day 2 – AI Bias, Authorship & Film Creation
Objective: Reflect on ethical concerns in AI-generated content and explore short film narratives through hands-on video creation.
09:30–10:30 From Prompts to Results: Discussing AI Bias
- How AI reflects human bias (visual, textual, cultural examples)
10:30–11:30 Authorship and Ownership in GenAI
- Who owns AI-generated content? Who owns AI-generated content?
- Ethical considerations and copyright issues
11:30–12:30 Demo & Group discussion (compare prompt results)
- Demo on existing AI film
- Discussion: “How does AI affect film industry”
12:30–13:30 Lunch
13:30–15:30 Hands-On Creation
- Plan and produce a short visual story using AI tools
- Peer feedback and improvement session
15:00–15:30 Certificate Presentation
Day 3 – Project Showcase & Celebration (Optional but Recommended)
Objective: Present final works in a fun, semi-formal showcase (video/ film/ XR experience/ game) with parents and peers.
09:00-12:00 Final Touches & Tech Check
If content or project is already finished, students can join after lunch
12:00-13:00 Lunch
13:00-14:00 “Mini Digital Film Festival” Presentation
- Set up a gallery-style viewing station or screening room
- Groups introduce their works briefly and screening
14:00-15:00 ATL open space for exploration
